My photography GCSE coursework is based on identity and I’ve decided to change the the title slightly to link into stereotypes and judgements that society creates. I have completed the first shoot and this was all about stereotyping girls and judging a particular girl about her eyes. I thought of some different ways to portray the theme. I wanted to use her hands to mask her face and draw more attention to her eyes by framing them with her hands this is a more natural way of doing this and I tried to portray that in these photos the girl is happy with the way her eyes are as she is framing them herself whereas in the label photos it is unnatural as it has been created by someone else. For the stereotyping of teenage girls I used masking tape and pen to label the body, the ripping of the masking tape made the photo look more dramatic and this was the look I was going for.
